Where is your delivery area?
We are based in Northeast Wisconsin, but deliver across Wisconsin, upper Michigan and Northern Illinois.
What hours are you open?
We are by appointment only so we can focus on creating amazing desserts for you with no distractions. Because of this, we are able to meet with prospective brides and grooms during the day, evening or even on weekends! For other special occasions, consultations are usually not necessary, unless the design is very elaborate.

Where are you located?

If you find the East De Pere, Wisconsin Shopko store, we are located in the building to the left of it, between the Freshair Salon and Panda Buffet. Just follow the LONG hallway to the rear of the building. There you will find our licensed kitchen and showroom/retail area.
How far in advance do I need to place an order?
l6-9 months for most wedding cakes. Fill out the Contact Form to see if your date is available and to make other inquiries. We are currently booking into 2012--once you have your date and reception hall, it's never to early to book your other vendors and lock in those prices!
Dates do fill up quickly, especially from May thru October.
Ample notice will help to secure your date and avoid disappointment.
How is our cake be made?
Your cake will be completely made from scratch for your special day. Our cakes are made fresh and never frozen. You deserve the best!
Do you make Vegan or Gluten Free desserts? Yes!
Just let us know what you'd like! Please keep in mind, however, that although we do our best to make sure your desserts are allergen-free, dairy, soy and nut products are processed in the same kitchen.
What is your wedding cake consultation process?
Complete the CONTACT form. We will respond and let you know if your date is available. If so, we will set up a cake (or other dessert) tasting & design consultation that will last approximately 1 hour. You will try many different samples and we will discuss your dessert selections and design(s). We will form a pricing quote at this meeting. Feel free to bring one or two (supportive) helpers with you. You will be tasting many different flavors and will typically have 'extras' to bring home to share.
There is a $25 tasting/consult fee, due at the time we meet, that is applied toward your $50 deposit to book your date---when you book your date with us, your consult and tasting is free!
Pricing?
Pricing for our made from scratch desserts is based on your unique design and serving size. Each order is custom made to your specifications---let us help you create something wonderful within your budget!
lTraditional Cakes start at $4 per serving. However, as an example, weddings of 400 guests, will have a lower cost per serving than weddings of 150 guests. For traditional cakes, it is best to ask for an estimate
lCupcakes start at $2.25 each.
lTable cake pricing is based on design. Individual cakes start at $5 each.
lDessert buffets are priced according to the goodies that are on them--usually between $3.00-6.00 per serving.

About "Sweet" Melissa....
I have been creating made from scratch desserts for the Green Bay area since 2005 with both retail and wholesale sales, supplying some of the area's favorite restaurants and coffee shops with their desserts. In addition to earning a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management from Purdue University (one of the nation's top programs), my over 15 years of experience managing restaurants and banquet facilities comes in handy when pairing the perfect dessert for the type of gathering you will be having--from formal to whimsical, I'll know what to suggest!
When I'm not crafting delicious desserts, I love to spend time with my husband, boys and Newfies.
